I was poking about for New Order stuff on eBay and came across a DVD I didn't recognise, as in I am not sure if this has been officially sanctioned or released in the UK or anywhere else. Thinking that I might have found something a bit rare, I bid on it and won the bugger.

It's dated as 15th June 2002, runs to 95 minutes and the setlist was:

Crystal Transmission Regret 60 MPH Atmosphere Brutal She's Lost Control Bizarre Love Triangle True Faith Temptation Love Will Tear Us Apart Blue Monday World In Motion Your Silent Face

Anyone know anything else about this? It might be a dodgy bloke-with-a-camcorder job but so what really?!

Cheers!

Hultsfred was broadcast live on Swedish TV, one of our Swedish Onliners (Hi Maria) sent me it on video. So I am guessing some sad b'stard has put it to DVD and is flogging it.

It will definitely be a bootleg:nonono:

I think everyone knows my feelings about ripping off genuine neworder fans:mad:

You not getting mixed up with the Big Day Out from Sydney? Only 6 songs from that set have been aired as far as I am aware.

God, mate, you must have been gutted to lose that!

Cheers for the info. Someone has gone the extra yards and printed up inlay sleeves with photos, track listing etc. The thing certainly looks the part but I will post some details of how it sounds, looks etc when it turns up.

Speaking of which, how often does everyone think they fuck up live? Someone told me once that Barney's guitar on Regret at Reading in 93 was out of tune. He said he borrowed the guitar he used on it on Republic from his mate Johnny Marr.

Marr rates Sumner as one of his all-time favourite guitarists, especially his stuff on P, C and L. I wonder if they ever taught each other chords and that when they were recording the Electronic albums...

...hm, I got this as .rm files on my puter; by the way, Alma, a female Hungarian fan sent me gig videos in summer '04; meanwhile my video player fooked up, and I didn't buy a new one, and the following shows and other stuff I haven't seen yet:

Manhattan Club, Leuven, Belgium, Dec. 17, 1985, Royal Albert Hall, London, England, Oct. 6, 1986, C.N.D. Festival, Glastonbury, England, Jun. 19, 1987, Reading Festival, Reading, England, Aug. 25, 1989, Jazz Festival, Montreux, Switzerland, Jul. 25, 1993, Reading Festival, Reading, England, Aug. 29, 1993 and The New Order Story...
