Supermen Lovers remix

I've noticed that it's fucking pants, although apparently it went down well with the clubberoonies - mind you that's no surprise, they'd dance to a fucking washing machine as long as sasha was sat on top of it![]()
Strangely enough Johnny, I'm actually looking forward to hearing Someone Like You - it's been getting loads of good press in the dance magazines, it was at no1 on loads of DJ Playlists....and surely it can't be as bad as 60mph...or can it?
Right that's it for tonight..I'm offski..just enough left in the tank to fall asleep watching the funniest film ever "The Life of Brian" Goodnight and God bless.
Reckon it can.
Basically, I prefer 60 mph. As most remix's detract from the original track, this doesn't inspire me with confidence.
Saw 2 promo versions of Someome Like You in a 2nd hand record store in Croydon on Tuesday afternoon. Same sleeve design as Crystal, only the horizontal bar is white & the main sleeve is red/magenta on one & lemon on the other. Tenner a piece & couldn't be arsed with it.
Should have taken Al's advice. Buy it & then off load to some train spotting anorak on ebay!!
Believe it or not...buying the 2 CD set in England via the net was cheaper than here in the states...
make any sense to you folks???

I am that anorak mate, so watch what you're saying or you'll find yourself looking for a NewOrder gig in Alice Springs come January..
;)
SLY vinyls: overpriced and underplayed. The best GR remix is Lee Coombs Crystal for mine.
Jeez, that Superman Lovers mix was one of the most horribly deformed attempts at music I've ever heard. Can't imagine anyone liking or dancing however twatted they are.
I've got some time for the SLY mixes to be honest. Admittedly they're nothing like the original (no bad thing in my mind), but particuarly the James Holden mix is a very good club tune.
Seb...you are correct...it is utter shite...
now watch it get more airplay in the US than any other New Order song ever...it'll go to number one, and then Britney will wanna do song with them. And Michael Jackson will come on stage and perform with them at the Grammy's, at which point I will have to stab myself to death with a rusty spoon...
