Now, I must I admit I deleted the drunken tonights words from the neworderonline.com, but still it's a wonderful, wonderful site. ;)
The Pogues with Kirsty MacColl, Fairytale of Noo Yoik.
Shane MacGowan was i/v'ed in the Guardian this week at his house in Tipperary. He finally got out of bed at 6pm to be i/v'ed and apparently sat and drank a whole PINT of BAILEY'S through a straw for his breakfast! And he claims to have Cut Down(!) on his drinking. Top man.

Fookin ell, he's gone from pints of Martini to pints of Baileys - that's what ye call a dedicated drinker
Fair play though he's a great lyricist - and his "mews" is clearly several pints of anything with alcohol in it.
The Kinks, "Father Christmas" and some lady "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree"
Special mention for sheer mawkishness: Elvis Presley "Blue Christmas"
I'm still fond of that Band-aid song...good to hear some of those fookers before they became complete wankers...especially that Boner, uhm, I mean Bono...

Tabsy - Kim Wilde sung a version of that song - with a fat bloated "comedian" called Mel Smith over here
And since I've had a few beers(again) I can admit to singing along with it![]()
And since I'm admitting to things I shouldn't be...I love a song that starts..."Snow is falling, all around us, children playing..having fun" I don't know whether it's the dink, but for some reason I think Shakin Stevens sung it![]()
