Per my gf, last year the Pixies played for 60-70 minutes as the second to last band on the mainstage (they got in 21 songs). Will New Order get the same amount of time???
Looking at the other artists that night, i can't see how they wouldn't bright eyes are crap and gang of four while incredibly cool are early in the evening and may play for 35 minutes....
your thoughts....70 minutes is good by me, as Finsbury was only a 88 minute set....

Was it? The DVD may have been, but I thought the gig itself was longer. In any case, the end time (and thus duration of set) was determined by the local council - they would have had to come on earlier if they wanted to do a longer set.
They will do an hour plus maybe two encore tracks, you won't get more than 70 mins. The scheduling for these festivals has to be pretty tight.
They'll play before all their equiptment explodes in that heat, so I'm guessing about 20 minutes at most.
i hope NIN cancels and NO has to play a double set to all the little black-haired industrial musicheads.
