WFTSC: First impressions

OK, I know it's early, but for those of you who've heard it, how's it sounding?

I don't really like to go with first impressions - even some of my very favourite albums took many, many listens for me to get into. Having said that though... i think i'm going to like it more than "Get Ready" and "Republic". Really like "Jetstream" and "Guilt Is A Useless Emotion" (or "Fast Synth" as it's labelled). Don't have the title track though. "Turn" sounds promising - a little bit like "All The Way" After a few more listens i'll have a better fix on it.

Ask Google. Plenty of experts there about converting MP4 to MP3 and such like.

Nero converts m4a to mp3. Or just about anything else for that matter!

I like those badges, Allen. Can I get hold of them somehow, or are they only for fully paid-up members of the 'ardcore who've seen active duty more than say, 20-30 times???

And if people do own leaked copies of the LP, please try to be less smug about it and just let us know what it's like, eh???

media player classic will also play the m4a files. i hate realplayer. i've been seeking deep in my soul to determine if i can tell you where i found six of the songs. some of them have weird names that don't match the tracklisting

Now back on topic. On first and only listen. Pop 1 and Jet stand out as great songs. But I do like Krafty the best so far. I still need to listen to 4 more songs so Im not done and one is Joe and Sirens so I think the best is yet to come. But on first listen I think get ready is better, but I like guitar tracks better, so it makes sence. I'm going to take it to work and listen to it over & over until I get it, then I will tell you what I really think.

I've been searching Soulseek for most of the day and come up with zero. Hope all you people who've managed to get a hold of it are doing the decent thing and putting up there for the rest of us to enjoy.

the leak isn't that big...

i've managed to grab everything save the title track, first impression? surprised and impressed cause it's really f*@cking good! turn, hey now, who's joe? & guilt is a useless emotion grab grabbed me straight away and the rest have really grown on me apart from working overtime which just sounds like a bad la's song. just need that title track now grrr! and the new coldplay record that also is rumoured to have just leaked.
