this is great news. i don't expect the rock n roll loving idiots on this site to know RITON but they are excellent electronic composers and news of them mixing NewOrder is sweet music to my ears. What did TPK have? BLT? Blue Monday? All classic singles with REMIXES on them, not B-sides. i thought useless complaining was my forte but others have the same disfunction that effects me. Bring on the mixes, i've got a feeling they're going to be awesome.
Yes, but you only had to buy a 12" (& 7" if there was one) single in those days. Now it is CD1, CD2, 12" and DVD singles and those singles weren't on an album or were very different from the album version.
I'm no fan of remixes, I don't particularly like the BLT 12" .
