Al, you've got to make the trip...do you want to miss the debut of the WFTSC tracks? 10 years from now you'll be wishing you made the trip.

Unfortunately, not all those Limeys swing like Austin Powers, Brian.

Although JG does have ordinary teeth and has been known to favour a cravatte/scarf.

A BRAVERY MEDAL for those that survive a PRE-GIG drink session with AL,OLDMONKEY,SHUGZV and the boys. Some of us prefer to go for a LIGHTHEADED lunch at KFC.The drugs don't ALWAYS work.I was awarded a HONOURARY one for my CHARITY work last tour round.Well who else was going to put up with SHUGZV and his inability to get served as the bar staff couldn't see him! :D:D

Who are the Vikings?

How long are they around?

What does membership involve?

Who got the badges made up?

Why the name "the vikings"?

The Vikings are Al Jarvis and his posse, and have been around for getting on 20 years now. Membership involves drinking in London whenever possible!

Why The Vikings? New Order used to come on stage to the Funeral Music for a Viking (from the film) and it sort of stuck.....not to mention that most of the Vikings are six foot plus and warlike down the front!

I've always assumed they got their name from earlier NO live shows when the band entered stage to the theme music to The Vikings.

Be cool to see them try it again.

And, of course, don't forget the ritualistic punishment of Depish and C*re fans by initiating the 'blood-eagle'!

:eek3:

Blood-Eagle. To carve the blood-eagle is an expression in the sagas referring to a cruel punishment given to detested enemies or the most wretched villain. it consisted in cutting the figure of an eagle on the back of the sufferer, parting the ribs from the back-bone and drawing the lungs from out the opening.

Rumours?

Well, I heard that Graham Parker was opening, and that Mick Fleetwood would be making a cameo appearance as a stage prop.

Sorry, but we've dropped "That'll do me" from the set these days. Replaced it with something about Novelty toys.
