Hey everyone, especially Americans.....!!!
We should be mad! How can new order do this to us?? I cannot believe that NewOrder is going all the way to Australia, but are going to skip the US??
Also, has NewOrder talked about changing their setlist at all? I cannot believe that they are not playing Primitive Notion, Close Range, or Vicious Streak in their current shows??? Hopefully they will change their setlist, if and when they come to the USA.

No news on the setlist, but I'll be quite happy to see the usual shite - it's been a while.

Just got my tickets for NO concert at Hordern Pavilion, Sydney on 23rd Jan....hee-hee. Hope there'll another one... Hey, Americans...we Aussies missed out on U2. Apparently they are not bringing their Elevation Tour here...bah!!

As an east coaster, i'm kind of dissappointed also. The nice thing is that since i'm right near albany ny, if they show up in NYC, Boston, Montral or toronto, i'm there...but they gotta show up first...

Well, if the record label is pushing so far the release of a 2nd single.. to me it means something...
They are keeping Turn My Way for the upcoming North American tour :D

Sorry but I do feel like the label SHOULD be waiting for something, unless they gave up on New Order and this future top 20 hit... and only think New Order remixes can do well in the US.

I hope your right. I thought that Turn My way would make more sense being released later than soon, would go over well with Corgan/Chicago, etc., My guess is if they are coming, it will be May or June...but it only a guess
Maybe they are waiting for something... to tour with someone else for instance.

now...all you North Americans...you all had your chance back in July and August...I'm not a rich man...but if I could make it to San Francisco...surely, quite a few of you could have done it as well...not knowing if this could be our last chance to see them...I jumped at it...even if it meant giving up my annual jaunt to the Carribbean...I guess what I'm trying to say is...

I'm just being my usual bastard self...I know that several of you have obligations...kids...school...wives and the what not...I'm lucky...my son's mother is a wealthy woman, so she let me off the child support hook...she even provided most of the funding for the October trip...what a lovely woman...

New Order's last four tours in the US have all been spring/summer deals...so maybe they are just waiting for warmer weather....

I have never seen them, and you cant say I missed my chance because I am 25 and was too young when they were popular here! :)
And there was no way for me to make it bloody California for the Area One tour. When I heard they were only doing west coast dates, my heart sank.
God forbid they or the Wannadies or Kylie should ever come here. Yes i said kylie, wanna make something of it??? :)

don't give up all hope until the summer of 2002 passes with nothing...hell...I saw them at Area One...and I still hope they will be back...
Maybe if we could bombard the right person with enough e-mails...anybody got any ideas???
It's only fair to point out that touring the US was the straw which finally broke the New Order camel's back!
Do the US again, and we'll probably never see them again! Ever.
