That's funny. This website, which is being linked to by Reprise and other Warner websites, is doing more to promote this new album then they are. Warners doesn't even have an official website up with the single only weeks away from being released. If anything they should be providing video and audio clips to you and also contributing to the cost of this website.

Instead of cutting off promotion efforts being done by this website maybe they should look at themselves, they did a shity job of promoting Get Ready, lets hope WFTSC will be diffenent.

I liked the video. Looks like it´s shot in one of the northern suburbs of Stockholm, Rinkeby or Spånga? Maybe Sundbyberg? Not surprising since Renck is living in Stockholm. The kids looks very british, thin and pale, unhealthy thin. I used to have a sweater like the boy has in the video in the mid 70´s.

It may be due to the fact that the labels are starting to change their view on videos - from being a promotional tool to becoming a revenue generator. Check out this article (originally from the New York Times).

Also, the problems with Warner UK may be because you're Canadian... :) No offense, but Warner UK and Warner US/CA are probably two different divisions and it's probably Warner US/CA's responsibility to handle all the promotion in that region...

Agree with the actors bit, they should've gotten Frankie Muniz and Lindsay Lohan (or Hilary Duff) instead.

The idea and camera work of the video fits well with the song too...the first kiss/makeout/feel-up/shag with a great girl makes you wanna jump up and down on a rooftop to crazy synth and bell sounds.

Better than 98.3% of the shite on music TV nowadays.

Strange how everyone is complaining about the video and now even about New Order sleeve-art... what the fuck are you nagging about? I can't think of any other band (except for maybe the Pet Shop Boys) that provided us with so many beautiful sleeves than New Order. As a graphic designer myself I can only be bloody envious about the constant quality of Peter Saville's work... so fuckin constant that I'm a 100% confident that the new sleeves will turn out fine once again... oh yes, and what's wrong with this video? If you prefere booty and baseballcaps I think you've joined the wrong band a few years ago!

You know what, when I first saw it I thought it was kinda shit, but it's better now that I've seen it again. It fits the song in terms of content, they're both upbeat, and I like the way the camera follows the drumbeat.

It's not that I don't like the video, i actually love the video. But, it is a clear rip-off of the Kent-video "Kärleken Väntar". Even the way the sex-scen is filmed, with the clothes next to the bed, with the chewinggum, and everything else.

The only real big diffrences is the jump-scen at the end, where the kids jump in the bed in the kent video, and here jump on top of a roof top.

yeah it's quite similar in terms of what happens in the video, if not the feel of it all. the camera movements obviously make a big difference.
