Have NO ever been known to do a cover during a gig (which, obviously, doesn't include JD or their own side projects)? If it were to happen, which song, if any, by which person/band would be a good fit for the band on the Sirens tour (assuming there will be some sort of tour)?

They have covered several songs live, such as Anarchy in the UK and, of course, Sister Ray. Joy Division did several live covers as well. As far as covers for the new tour, Joy Division will be the extent of it, unless you count Working Overtime as some sort of cover.
The only one they did is "When I'm With You" by the Sparks.
Anarchy wasn't really New Order, as it's a roadie...
Am I missing one? 
They didn't do Vietnam live.. Turn The Heater On neither..
I think Popey's referring to the blatant 1969 bassline ripoff!
As JD, they did Riders on the Storm, The Passenger and Sister Ray (but NOT Louie Louie!) live
As NO, they have done Sister Ray, Do The Ostrich and When I'm With You live, plus a jam loosely based on Anarchy in the UK (with a roadie singing it), The Passenger and TV Eye at soundchecks (maybe The Passenger live somewhere), and they also segued Walk On The Wild Side out of a version of Every Little Counts at Pittsburgh in 1987.
As far as I am aware, Turn The Heater On wasn't played live, Vietnam hasn't been yet. You never know though.

Yep, The Stooges with Mark E.Smith singing. Even the lyrics are a pastiche of a couple of 1991 Fall songs!
