No No, the BAND is called "TESTAMENT" and the record is titled "the new order"

There is another (american?) band called The New Order, which has nothing to do with New Order. I think it's a hard rock band, but I'm not sure.

Must make clear that THE NEW ORDER was a band in the early seventies. It was the two brothers Ashton from Iggy Pop´s band who made one record, I think. On the cover they´re all dressed up in Nazi uniforms, as I recall it. And since Hooky is such a big Iggy fan, I´m sure he was well aware of the New Order before they chose their name.

i heard about that band 'the new order' from the seventies.were they really the ashton brothers? were they any good? i'm a big fan of the stooges myself,some of iggy's solo stuff is pretty good aswell

I've never run across the album in stores, or even online for that matter. I thought it was just the bass player and some other guys. Anyone got this lp? I like what I've heard of the Stooges, though Lust For Life is arguably better than the first Stooges lp.

i remember reading something iggy said in an interview about new order which seemed really strange. it's all fitting together now, thankyou for that public service announcement.

H. felt his name had been dragged in the mud by the former co-webmaster and decided to take a break away from here.

There are, however, strong suspicions that both are back with different names. The NOO grapevine has it that H.Mickle esquire may well be of a Pringalian disposition, whereas The Corn(wall)King-to-be may possibly be a Martian !

I'm sure rebuffs/confirmations will tell all :)

According to his post just above, H. Mickle has been a member since November 3, 2001, which is well before the blowup.

Didn't both our missing colleagues have other accounts though, opened at times of lock-out around that period ? We'll have to examine the syntax !!!

Don't get me started on Badger Racing now Patrick, I'm still mourning the passing of my favourite pastime.....had to shoot all the badgers in the end, as they couldn't get the necessary training, and the overheads were proving too much. Ovid was a top badger as well - had just got promoted to the Professional League
