I need some of you nice anoraks to help me out please.I recently bought 3 versions of the 7 inch of everything's gone green, a nice light blue cover a green cover and an orange cover.I believe there are nine covers in all, how much do you think i would have to pay for the others, are some more sought after than others? i paid £8 a piece for the ones i bought. Cheers for any help you can give me on this matter- i did notice that the black cover went for £25 a couple of days ago on ebay.

GJ, certain kind folk offer such material up for the good of their health - put a post up with a 'has anyone got these EGGS in these colours' and see what happens. A while ago a few onliners completed their egg boxes using this trusty method.

The collection is quite difficult to complete nowadays so it might be more of a case of where to locate a seller with the particular colour wishing to give it up. I haven't seen any one individual single fetching any more than £35 in my time.

Good luck differentiating between the lighter and darker blue versions!

Can anyone post a complete colour list for the man to utilise?

I have the set (and its beautiful) but its in my loft.

thanks for that, i have pics of the nine different colours from peter savile's book and i know what you mean about the two different blues, though the thought of shelling out £35 for some of the singles could hurt my very poor wallet badly.

They're listed here

Dunno about current prices, although I'd assume that some of the harder to find colours would (obviously) be worth quite a bit, so 25-35 quid is probably on the ball.

Which colours are you after?

BTW, if you haven't done so already, check out the following places (might require you to contact the vast majority of sellers beforehand, as most don't state which colour cover they're selling):

GEMM

Netsounds

MusicStack

You can normally buy stuff a lot cheaper via these places than on eBay! :)

Oh, and another tidbit of information - check Amazon - for people selling their used records - some gems crop up there, too.

l8rs,

Nick ;)

Yeah, that link is only 5 years too old. Try the proper link instead:

If anyone has a purple to spare, please let me know...

And for the record, the single is actually Procession with EGG as the B-side.
