Has anyone managed to blag any tickets for tonight ??

I have just come back from a week in Tobago and am a bit behind on all the info.

Is it on channel4 later tonight ??

It's strange, you'd think the NME themselves would be 'bigging up' an appearance by New Order at their awards ceremony ... wouldn't you?

No word anywhere though.

Despite the recent realisation that New Order were actually quite good, nay influential, the NME has forgotten they knew this all along.

English Heritage should penalise those who do not protect that which is special.

I used to buy NME just to read about New Order.

I don't know about C4 but its on VH-1 and (I think) MTV over the weekend.

Apparently New Order are to receive the 'God-like Genius' award tonight.

Thought that might have been the case - at least it gets their photo in next week's mag!

So, does anyone know if VH-1/MTV/etc (i.e. those channels I'm not currently subscribed to via cable!) are showing the entire show?

I know that I'll definitely be watching C4 tomorrow night to watch the highlights, and (hopefully) at least watch New Order play "Krafty" live.

Incorrect. Jo Whiley mentioned it on her Radio 1 show :nuts: 4 tracks to be played (and yes, you did tell us this two weeks ago) No mention of the God-Like Genius award though. Hopefully we will get to see at least a couple of the songs over the next few days. Get scouring.

VH2 Sunday 21:00 VH2 have been considerate in allowing a comparison showing just how much better than Mozza they are. Morrissey Live in Manchester is broadcast immediately afterwards.

Same show on both channels I think, one hour long.

Channel 4 are describing their programme tonight at 00:15 thus:

This half hour show is a look back at past winners and a look forward to those who are in the running this year before revealing this years Godlike Genius. Featuring interviews and performances from the biggest names in modern music, including U2, The Beatles, Ozzy Osbourne, the Clash, Morrissey, The Pixies and The Cure.

And has already been stated, tomorrow nights programme features highlights from the ceremony itself.
