...this is the title of a 'charity' type album for the homeless that is advertised, strangely enough, in the bogs at that mecca of football that is St Andrews.
The tracklisting includes New Order and Monaco and other 'creditble' acts.
Anyone know which NO track is on this CD?
Is it some sort of 'Man Utd' mix of TBTHOG?

Mr Way - have they got rid of that wooden stand for the away supporters yet - I was down for the Celtic game a few years back - and I can safely say that stand was fucking dangerous - espescially when you've got 8 or 9000 drunk Celtic supporters in it. Anyway back to the subject - when was this album released?
The New Order track on this compilation is "Atmosphere" live at Reading '98.
The Monaco track is "Ballroom" and the Other Two track is "Superhighways (Andy Votel Mix)"

Yes, the old Railway Stand has now been demolished to make way for a brand spanking new 2 tier effort that holds about 8,000.
I remember the Celtic game - the only time Blues fans have been out numbered at St Andrews - the attendance was only about 12,000 in total if I recall rightly, about 5,000 Blues and 7,000 Celtic.
That game and all the trouble that happened before and after is a very good reason why Celtic and Rangers shouldn't parachute into the English leagues.
Can you imagine Celtic playing away at Millwall?!

Mr Way, the trouble at the game was because of a bunch of about 20 right wing no-marks, to clarify this - Karen Brady came out at half time and took A Red Hand of Ulster flag off the wankers - but yes the tension was bad beacuse of this - this had fuck all to do with the Celtic supporters mate - you can take us anywhere - just ask Middlesbrough, Everton, Man U, Liverpool - need I go on mate!! as for the attendance it was 13,500 and roughly 10,000 of them were tims...honestly mate!!!! But yes I can kind of agree there'd be troble at the likes of Chelsea.
Exactly, the mere fact that Celtic would be playing in town will bring out all the nutters. Wasn't there trouble at that testimonial match in Norridge last season?
There's always bother when the Gers come down to England as well.
The only reason for the Tic and the Gers to go in the English leagues would be so that the TV money can still be negotiated upwards. All Prem games are sold out anyway so there doesn't seem much point in them coming down, footballing wise.
Celtic & Rangers? Take them off our hands mate.
Maybe then the mighty Hearts will win the league that should rightfully have been ours in 86.

Cheers for not getting arty farty with my response mate - didn't know if it came across correctly;) As for the Norwich game - I was at it and didn't see any sign of trouble - and in the Celtic view a week later the Chief Constable sent in a letter thanking the fans for their warmth and good humour. As for the Huns - you can't take them anywhere mate...honestly....mainly because of the ICF and casuals...anyway reading the paper today it's not going to happen...ach well.

I was only 11 but I still remeber it like it was yesterday - winning the League at Love Street - meaning we won on Goal Diff - a big hello to Albert Kidd;) sorry mate couldn't resist it - and I'm right in sayimg you lost the Cup Final only a week later...that must have been a right kick in the teeth, as for Hearts winning the league if the old firm left...no chance - Livvy would piss it;)

Though I heard on the radio last night that some of the Football League clubs were still interested in 're-structuring' so it could still happen. I don't particularly agree with it, even though my club would benefit from a Prem Div 2 or Phoenix type League, but it would be nice to see them at Parkhead or Ibrox in a meaningful match.
Even though the Prem have ruled it out for now the top clubs would still rather play Celtic and Rangers than say Bolton or Southampton if it could be arranged. I don't think we've heard the last of it yet...
You know what Muff, I can't see it happening. the TV footy bubble is about to burst if the info that I've seen is correct. The phoenix league is a dead duck - it won't happen coz the big boys know soon they won't be able to spread the resources around any thinner. What with wages getting ever higher as well. The peak of the footy craze will be the world cup, and it's down hill from there I reckon. the next TV deal will be worth considerably less.
