Hunt's U2 have been the best shows i've EVER seen. The Zooropa and Pop Mart tours especially. Tight as funk as a band and asthetically the best by several miles, brilliant shows. Sorry!

Er no, but I did get a jiggy at the back of the arena with a girl I worked with who chose that night to confess that she fantasized about me regularly. That produced a 'sort' of milk, though i'm fairly sure it was well whipped and not semi-skimmed!!

James - Tipitinas (new orleans) 1997 (Laid Tour) Morrissey - State Palace Theater - 1993 (Your Arsenal) ----sadly, i never saw the smiths live either but this show happened at the peak of my smiths/morrissey fascination. front row, first on stage (We Hate it when ...playing) later got bootleg cassette from friends taping beside us which clearly preserved my voice screaming into the mic just before the security guards started tearing my apart. it's embarrasing now, but at the time it meant something to me. when i moved to seattle, the only thing i had in the world to call my own were 2000+ records/cd's and a shoebox full of tapes, carefully selected from 100's to soundtrack the 5 day trip from the southeast to the northwest. 3 weeks in seattle and some teenage junkie punk rock loser busted my back window and stole my box of cassettes. nothing else. those tapes meant more to me than anything. my first new order tape was in that box. a copy of substance from a friend that warbled and faded but still did the trick. the morrissey tape was there too. every tape had a story and now those stories are blurring in my mind. fucker.
