I'm truly ashamed for not knowing this, but who are we playing in the featured match?
I want to say San Marino, but they look more North African than European. Albania maybe? ![]()

Blue shirts, white shorts and blue socks. Similar shade to Italy. Could be an away kit. Don't get a clear look at the badge.
We played Italy and Yugoslavia before the 1990 World Cup, Uruguay (sky blue) and Greece (away) in 1989. Probably one of these.

I would put my money on Yugoslavia. The players don't seem to be Italians, the uniform is too dark to be Uruguays and Greece uniform is all blue.

It's at Wembley. Definitely not Greece or Uraguay. Wouldn't have thought it was Yugoslavia. We beat Albania 5-0 in a qualifier, so it could be that.
Actually, I take that back about it not being Yugoslavia. Steve McMahon is playing, and looking at THIS PAGE the likely ones are either Yugoslavia or Czechoslovakia. In the video, you see Chris Waddle - who didn't play against the Czechs so it's most probably Yugoslavia.
Give me a minute to remember why this question was in any way important...

Not surprising really, if Greenock Morton is your local side!

Plus the Czechs and Albania wear red shirts..... Uruguay was a home game in 1989. I will check out the team.
Interesting team for the 1989 Yugoslavia game (Uruguay was 1990 and probably after the video was made)....
Peter Shilton Paul Parker Stuart Pearce a n other Des Walker Bryan Robson Michael Thomas David Rocastle Steve Bull Gary Lineker Chris Waddle
Subs: Dave Beasant for Shilton, Tony Dorigo for Pearce, David Platt for Thomas, Steve McMahon for Robson and Steve Hodge for Rocastle.

Nah, Mr Trowell is right.
In the clip, they're congratulating Lineker (Robson scored both against Yugoslavia) and they're wearing THIS SHIRT which as the blurb says was debuted during the Brazil match, which was after the Yugoslav game.
Fcuk me, Paul Trowell is definitely right. After watching the video with more attention I was able to spot Brazilian players like Branco, Mozer and Alemão. I'm feeling really dumb for never noticing this before.
