Oh i dont know. The only song im not fussed about out of those four is BM.glad they did Crystal and will be tuning into Channel 4 tommorrow night hopefully to hear what Krafty sounds like live
Fantastic! Really does seem that age is not proving a barrier for them at the moment. Dare I say the NME are listening to their material before making their minds up?
I think the show on tonight (thursday) is just the past winners. Tomorrow at 11:35pm on Channel 4 is the Highlights Package from the Awards Ceremony, and it's only on for just over an hour so I doubt we will see all four tracks on our 2ft tubes. What will they show? Krafty and LWTUA is my guess.
Where the fook was Gillian?? Did not even mention her nor gretton for that matter.
Is this the first Godlike Award??
at this rate we might even get an NME feature /interview around the release of the album which will be more than they did for Get Ready !

???
It wasn't for the fans, it was for the audience... plus they did a few songs that show who they are... plus Crystal and Krafty.

Let me hazard a wild guess: you want them to play "Hurt" four times then stumble offstage for some Pernod? ![]()
Ally.

Is that Chris Lowe from the Pet Shop Boys back there wearing a cap?
Is he joining New Order? ![]()

i thought jd/no had a love/hate relationship with the uk press during the early years? didn't they generally tell reporters to piss off, no comments, etc.?
i suppose it's only fair to be polite to people who are crowning you godlike. but did nme really "help out" new order when they were just starting out? i'm curious.
So, at least "Love Will Tear Us Apart" will be shown tomorrow, then.. ![]()
Tonights show (well the second half at least) was a mini New Order retrospective full of old clips...
Congrats to New Order for finally having the media kiss their asses, it's been due for a long time!

Yeah, if U2 give them a prize they'll say the same about Bono?

The difference is that, unlike our (not so) young heroes of the day, U2 have considered themselves "godlike" for years and don't feel the need for an award to justify it.
