I didn't have a website back in 1993, but damn it, New Order seems to be EVERYWHERE latetly...
And I thought the marketing for Get Ready was good, but it seems this time they have the Warner machine behind them.

Everywhere must be EUROPE in your mind I hope.
We'll see what happens once the record his the streets in North America...
Anyway who cares, it's a bland album !!!
Well, The Cure's new album got some attention over here this year, despite their last one (in 2000) being largely ignored in the States. The media is hyping up the return to the 80's so much lately that if Bob Smith and Mozz can lick arse and have their arses licked in return, our boys can get some attention too.
Nothing the Cure ever did has anything on WFTSC so I expect/assume some big waves for New Order in North America.

Well, doing only 1 gig on North America isn't going to help...

The Cure didn't play on Leno. It was Jimmy Kimmel, and they cut the second song, Why Can't I Be You?, after the intro.

remember how new order cameo'd on baywatch when republic came out?
so this time, i'd guess... the oc? desperate housewives?
If Reprise were smart, it would try to get them in the BaitShop on the OC playing "Turn", which is a brilliant OC-track for all the breakups, makeups, and dustups. It be thrilling.....
Note: I am a 26 year old lawyer who loves the show. It is my 90210, since I hated that crap. At least the people on the OC listen to better music.
Who's Joe?
yeah i`m just about keeping up with the radio , tv apearances ,mag features/ net stuff but am aproaching burn out....
But amongst all of this the "GODLIKE GENIUSES" still haven`t been playlisted by Radio 1 for Krafty![]()

Holy schnikes, I havent been in here in a fortnight and some change. anywhoo, i completely agree, they still need more exposure here in the states. I was going to go to coachella til i remembered how much i hate most concert experiences. besides id be surrounded by more NIN, Bauhaus, and Coldplay fans than anything else. Bring on the NO-only tour!!
