Let's Go - Instrumental

I was watching the video of the '85 performance at Leuven, Belgium and they indeed open up the footage with an instrumental version of Let's Go. Are there any formally recorded instrumentals of Let's Go or will I have to slink back into the dystopic world of bootlegs to get any sort of results?

The lyrics, both versions of them, aren't that bad, the instrumental is just so damn good with the persistent bassline.

Distributed by DEUTCHE AUSTROPHON/DISCOBOX (DEUTSCHLAND) POLYGRAM/IMS(AURTRIA/HOLLAND)EMI RECORDS (SWITZERLAND) and also contains Remix of TOUCHED,Touched,SPUTNIK,Salvation Theme and SKULLCRUSHER. A classic OST in my opinion. REGARDS ROCKET MICK:thumb:

Or you can live with a shorter version which is on the bonus disc of Retro.

BTW, if trying to get Salvation, hunt the Japanese version, it has an extra unique remix of Touched by the Hand of God...

Available once in a while on EBay.

Been looking on eBay... Only 14 tracks on Jap edition and no mention of a Dub version of TBTHOG, just orginal and Remix versions. The German edition has 16 tracks but still no Dub mix (just as above). Me is confused!?!? :confused2:

Basically, what you have here, is all version featuring a 4:59 "original mix" (quite stripped down, without Arthur Baker's overdubs), and some version featuring the 7:03 12" A-side, while others (such as the version I have) featuring an unedited, presumably original 'Touched By The Hand Of Dub' (7:59), other wise known as 'Touched By The Hand Of God (Remix)' on this soundtrack.

Also called "Arthur Baker remix" by some other.

But that one is exclusive and hard to find indeed.. it's been discussed on the Ceremony Mailing List a few times.

And each time this item goes on EBay, it is sold at an incredible amount of money... (well, not like the Krafty promos though!)

There are about 5 versions of this album,4 with the bird sitting on the TV and the one Saville re-designed the sleeve for.

Most go for about £10 on eBay,dont think i`ve ever seen the Salville version on there though.

Well, I've got both the German (Interphon; IPCD 2022-36) and the Japanese (Victor Musical Industries; VDP-1345) CD versions of these soundtracks, and they've both got the exclusive Arthur Baker 12" remix of "Touched By The Hand Of God" on it - this isn't on the either the LP or the Canadian CD versions of the soundtrack.

The German version, however, does hadd two remixes of The Hood's "Salvation!", though...

So, if you've got the German CD (cover has the women sitting on top of the television set), you do not need the Japanese CD (the Saville-esque white sleeve with purple, orange and green 'stones' in a circle on the front).

I made the choice to go for the German edition (extra tracks) however it's tempting to go for Jap version because of Saville's sleeve (in the vain of Substance inners isn't it!?):

Japanese Version on eBay at the moment!

Yup, that's the Japanese one I've got (and am now currently playing)! :)

It's also got a lyric booklet with it, but obviously the only New Order lyrics are for "Touched By The Hand Of God", as the others are instrumental!

Oh yeah, the version of "Let's Go" still has the EQ's buggered up on it! :)
