Blergh. Someone in the band thinking it'd be funny to have Kylie over BM in the intro...

Yup, it was Neil & Chris of the Pet Shop Boys presenting the award - everyone (including Gillian) went up to accept it.

Songs played live (so far):

Krafty (with female backing vocals?) Love Will Tear Us Apart Blue Monday (intro'd with "I Can't Get You Out Of My Head")

Bugger, titles are coming up now, and so Blue Monday cut short and no fourth song...

What did Hooky's backline say - thought it was "Rhetoric"?

Euphoric

That was great, I taped it so I can check out all the details over and over again later. Only bad thing was the way Blue Monday was just cut off. Krafty was great. I loved the way they were introduced with True Faith playing, class.

Euphoric something. Might have been Euphoric Return.

Sounds like the backing music for blue monday has been re-worked a bit. Nice to hear the vocoder(sp?) and stuff back in there

Hooky`s backline said EUPHORIC RETURN

fuck! Barney looked and sounded really nervous during Krafty but LWTUA was truly touching and he was much more composed.

Gillian was there !!!

It would have topped it off in style if Gillian had played on stage with them.

Typical Order performance too. Lokks like they don't rehearse before performance! Quality:D

aaaand I'm back. Didn't count for queuing time. Seem not to have missed anything as Bowman is still talking about the GLG awards.

God, Mick Jones is looking like a balding bank manager these days.

And of course, Barneys autocue. Nice to know that after 25+ years, he still cant be arsed learning the words to love will tear us apart.

Hooky's backline: EUPHORIC RECALL.

Barney's still doing his 'come ons' in LWTUA and Blue Monday was accompanied with the usual lashings of terrible freaky dancing.

Sorry yeah it was 'EUPHORIC' 'RECALL' and not RETURN.Just watched the vid again.First watch i did think Barney was a bit nervous on Krafty but in second view it was probably just me that was nervous!!.I always am when theyre on TV playing live.Didnt hear the Kylie bit on BM 1st time but yeah it`s on there.Hooky givin loads of bangin on the syns .

Gillian looked really quite younger than i thought she would :love2: :love2: .GOD I SO MISS HER NOT BEING IN THE BAND ANYMORE!!

Fingers crossed the MTV2 prog Sat night they will show Crystal

Well I hope somebody could get the Krafty performance put on here! I bet its better then the video.

So anybody managed to put that on digital format for us? I'll put it online...

I recorded it to DVD, I am sure it was NOT live, seemed liked pre recorded and the mimed over , either that or Barney can sing with his lips closed.

As Blue Monday LIAM, better to have half of it than the full bloated Bore us shitless version :evil4:

Dont think it was mimed over - it did seem to be edited down though. - Krafty was far shorter than i expected & there was an instrumental section of LWTUA shortened also.

Nice to see that Barney still can't get the lyrics right, How many times did he sing the wrong words & THEN look at his autocue when it was too late:D . He looked almost embarrased singing Krafty - its a bit slow live - they should play the whole album live to gauge reaction before deciding on the other singles (secret gig anyone?)

In Blue Monday, the electronic bits sounded exactly like the recorded version - ie they used the recording and put bass, vocals and a few additional electronic bits 'live'. The vocoder part accompanying the vocals sounded exactly like the record.

Bit sad that they have got to resort to autocue for the well known classics. Pretty much blows out the water any chance of them playing older, less commercial stuff at any gigs this year.

Still good to seem on stage though.

The most dubious part of it was the crowd sound, it sounded like Wembley friggin' stadium in there!  I think it was live though, I'd have expected some serious lip synching disaster if he was miming, also what was the point of Barney miming playing the Kylie sample when Phil Space was stood over there doing naff all?
