I wrote this as a response to the Japanese version of Krafty [will Bernard introduce it as 'Klafty'?] - but it wouldn't submit on that thread so I'm opening it up. To me, this is another great addition to the pantheon of idiosyncratic, ill-advised new order moments. and as such makes complete sense. it's rare enough to be surprised by a band once or twice in a career but then the beauty of new order is their non-linear approach and their sense of the absurd. with that in mind, what do we think are their Top Ten StupidBrilliant Moments so far?

Didnt they once play for a member or members of the royal family? i think it was in America. Bernard mentioned it when he appeared on startest years ago. Thats pretty daft in my opinion.

I believe I did a similar thread some time back. Something about the biggest mistake the band has made. Too tired now to dig it up though. I think it was called "the only mistake."

Yeah, but this is not about mistakes. It's about stupidbrilliant moments.
The TBTHOG video - StupidBrilliant typified.
Also, the Christmas flexi and its 'musical' contents, combined with the ludicrous price people are prepared to pay for this...

I could probably list 20 things, but that's why we love them.
I'll just mention one that bugs me. Dawn Zee.
Almost completely abandoning their synth sound in Brotherhood. I hear alot of negative comments about that album but it will always be one of my faves. Damn I miss that album.
