You never know, they could play multiple dates at NY and Chicago.

did you hear about the bridge they're building from California to Hawaii?

No but I did hear that pigs could fly. Flying bacon and chops sounds good to me.

hey tristan, let's me and you, right, like, move to texas then beg for New order to play there. Think of all the fun we could have in Texas. I mean there's Austin with it's Rock clubs and riverfront shops and then there's...um....hmm...there's the....no, that's not in Texas...hmm...well Dallas has an ice skating rink, that could be fun. Houston has a Whole Foods and a Half Price Books! Think of the fun! We could buy really expensive organic veggies then drive past 1,000,000 Bush supportors to our cheap, but depressing house and regret our choice to live in Texas. Sound like a plan? Maybe we could invite Mr. McDermott to come over to tell us how awesome Dick Cheney is and why GWB is the single greatest living American...no, Human ever to breath our good air. I'm there dude!

Fuck you I'm moving to Odessa for the high school football. Oh and FYI, Condoleeza Rice is the greatest living American. ;)

another good thing about Texas, Christian Radio. Loads of Christian Radio stations...a good mix between Christian and Country music. The Lord does look down on Texas!

Doesn't everybody do that?

When I think of Texan music I try to think of Tejano, like Selena. Too bad Texas hasn't produced anything decent musically for so long.

it was a bad phrase. i meant, the Lord looks after texas, not looks down on it in the same way the rest of the free world does. ever notice the only people who like texas are texans? weird. I had the misfortune to live less than an hours drive from the texas border and can testify that texas is the ugliest state in the union. the people are fat, with oily skin, the landscape is BORING and the overwhelming majority have social and politcal views that are closer to the middle ages than the 21st century. With the exception of Jeff, of course.

That's funny, anywhere you live that's an hour's drive to Texas is bound to be fucked up too (except Las Cruces and New Orleans). Maybe Texas is a massive vortex summoned by Satan himself.

If you're driving a Ford Ranger and are slowed by all the fookin Texans who cannot drive more than 60 mph. :p

Yeah I guess it's more than an hour away.

This misspelling is on purpose. Its sponsored by the O2 cellphone network. When Guinness sponsored it, it was called Witnness - again, note the misspelling.

Only messing with you; I had only hoped it was on purpose.

it takes 45 minutes to travel from New Orleans to Lafayette, surely it's more than 15 minutes from Lafayette to the texas border.

Okay, okay you smartass librul. Jay-sus always have to be so technical. Anyways it just reinforces my point of Texas being a massive vortex of doom!

OK, Operation Thread Hijack now complete.

Did you hear that New Order are playing Chicago and New York?

Seriously, though, i'm real excited to hear about them going through the back catalogue. We were basically told the Coachella set is going to be an hour of standard Festival shit. This should be the set at Coachella:

Crystal Regret Temptation BLT Touched Atmosphere LWTUA Blue Monday True Faith Krafty Transmission

The other shows may be more interesting. I wish i hadn't decided to do Coachella. I'd prefer to fly to Chicago and New York. Probably could have done both shows for the cost of a weekend in Palm Spings. Oh well, live and learn.

tell me how you get from New Orleans to Texas in an hour. It's impossible in a car.

Well if I had a racecar maybe I could do it :p Seeing as the South loves NASCAR so much I bet I could find a gas guzzler to steal and make my way to New Orleans.
