17 page spread about joy division / ian curtis and new order. incl Q&A with natalie curtis in the april05 edition of mojo. also my first spot of a WFTSC ad. almost gold lettering. I also got the sound on sound interview with stephen hague (re:truefaith) recently how naughty is it to scan these and make them presentable to our less fortunate overseas friends? or rather - how much interest is there in me doing this?

Not naughty at all Will and I am sure it will be appreciated by the NOOL overseas members! I have been lucky enough to purchase my own copy in London this morning - fantastic pictures.

Ive got the sound on sound magazine with the True Faith article (see a previous thread)

Its a very interesting read, i.e. the bit where the band locked Barney in the flat and wouldnt let him out until he finished his lyrics!! and Gillian beavering away at the keyboards and generally being a very good girl!

It may be available online but you have to register to look at articles on the SoS website.

I've never known a JD/NO media frenzy ever like this. Just bought Rip & Burn, Q, NME and Mojo. All JD/NO major spreads. (I expect Uncut will follow shortly.) The Mojo articles look brilliant. There's a lot of JD photos I've never seen before. Where the hell have these been unearthed from ? Joy Division eating kebabs! Oh no, the mystique has gone! The major surprise is that Natalie Curtis has done an interview. She sounds totally cool with everything.

Jeez, so many articles to read at once. Back in 1985 I used to have to wait a whole bloody year for one New Order interview in the NME and then they were all grumpy and evasive.

The mojo Article is great, & this weeks NME looks good, but haven't read it yet.

I like the mini interview with Natalie C. in mojo.

Did you notice the full page advert for WFTSC?

The title text was outside the grey square which had the 'No' (Not on the sleeve?)

The colour was definately brown, not orange. It looks much better.

Do you think Savilles changed his mind or is it just a printing error?

I'm overseas & I know I would very much enjoy the article. Thank you very much if you do. Grade A Idea.

I imagine the photos come from the vault of Kevin Cummins, and will presumably re-appear in his long-promised book of JD snaps (though the equally long-awaited NO is still listed on Amazon....)

Hi everyone, will get Mojo as soon as this internet session is over. I had a quick read of NME in Tesco's so no need to spend £1.90 on that now, but really liked the photo of New Order posing for the camera at the Baywatch video shoot. I realise that this may be out of order and a chapter in Hooky's past best left forgotten but has anyone got a scan of Hooky's punch up a few years ago with Caroline Aherne's then boyfriend?. I think it was published in The Sun.

Ian, belated congratulations on the birth of your child.

There's a short interview an a review of "WFTSC" in this month's 'Uncut' as well. The review gives 'em 3/5, but is probably the most balanced and intelligent piece of writing on said LP yet.

Read the words, not the numbers, folks!
