Hello all.

I work for Orange UK and we've got a truetone remixer called Fireplayer available on OrangeWorld - the wap portal. It's worth pointing out that Fireplayer uses the actual samples from the song itself, not someone's crap interpretation of it . You can mix your own Krafty truetone now as long as: a) You've got an SPV, E200, C500, M2000, Nokia 6600, 6630 7610 or Sony Ericsson P800, 900 or P910. b) You're on the Orange network. c) You live in the UK.

I realise this rules a lot of fans out who visit these forums, and apologise for the spam. I am a New Order fan, (I was involved in the Community homage CD on this site) and am in this job for the music - honestly! But just thought you'd like to know about this as fans.

We'll have Jetstream and WFTSC available on Mar 27 to mix too.

Fireplayer will be available online soon, so you'll all be able to have a go. If anyone's interested. just drop me a line at andrew.mcnally@ananova.com and I'll alert you when it's available on ze Interweb.

Thanks. Andy. :thumb:

And what about Sooner Than You Think? :D

Oh well, I was expecting an Acid Planet contest once again ;)

Would be curious to see which song people would like to remix off the album, really...

Krafty, Jetstream and Waiting For the Sirens' Call are probably the only ones on offer due to them being the singles from the album.

If you want, send me (in email) something written for the news, and I'll gladly put it online...

I mean, something more "official" that I can cut and paste in the news.

I've just loved the idea! With 2 or 3 tracks from WFTSC to remix. My picks would be: -Krafty: the remixes I've listened so far really s*ck and maybe someone can do anything better with the track); -Jetstream: the original track is very catchy overall but IMHO it has weak synths/arrangements -Guilt Is A Useless Emotion: I do have my remix to do here in my head right now, just give me the samples, please!

That's official? I mean about those three songs being the singles from the album?

Good question! :D

Expebetting.com says: 2-1 for "Jetstream" as next single, and 4-1 for "Waiting for the Sirens Call". The last one, with 1000-1, is "Working Overtime".

Hehehehe:)

I was talking about the telephone remixes.. not the singles.

I know those are the 3 singles off the album, only weird thing is Bernard keeps saying Jetstream will be the 2nd one, even though we read in many places the title track would be the 2nd single, officially launched for the summer festivals...
