Yes, they will be.

But it's for a TV show on Canal+ (France), New Order will play 7 songs live.

Those of you crazy enough to travel to have their New Order fix, the number to have your place for the recording is 01 42 28 88 88. Hope your french isn't rusty ;)

The show is recorded at La Plaine Saint Denis.

The show is L'album de la semaine (album of the week), and here is the official page of the show.

Don't know if it will be broadcasted live or not, I have no idea, maybe our french friends can help us out here...

I believe it's on Canal+ Confort, whatever that is.

What will be interesting is what they will play... it will give us a good idea of the future setlist...

Or they'll play 7 songs from Waiting For The Sirens' Call, don't know.. but since it's "album of the week", maybe it would be logical...

Anyone from France can tell us how this show is usually... go ahead!

Canal+ Confort is available, dual-encrypted in Viaccess and Mediaguard, on Astra 1G at 19.2E, Transponder 72, 11.856Ghz, SR27500, FEC3/4

For those that have satelite DX'ing gear and lots of subscription cards... I don't have either a Viaccess or Mediaguard CAM, let alone a valid Canal+ subscription card to use in them. Or any decent crackers...

HI! What usually happens for this Canal + shows is that the band play seven songs, five of weech are braodcasted during one week, one song per say from Monday to Friday. Then fromtime to time, the entire show is broadcasted on "le live de la semaine" (Canal + Confort which is one of the four channels Canal + has. You can get it through French cable or satellite). The first five tracks are always new songs from the new album, the two remaining songs can also be new songs or, likely, covers. This second braodcast is not very much advertised. Bye twp

And I've been told that sometimes, the artists play more songs than needed... I think NO could take the opportunity to rehearse some songs! :D

The phone number for people outside France is +33 1 42 28 88 88 Don't wait too long! :music:

Hey guys,

Canal+ will show one song every night, Monday through Friday at 18:30 (Paris time) and this will not be encrypted.

The full show will play on the following Monday at 22:00 with bonus songs, not shown the week before, on Canal+ Confort, a paying channel.

I rang this morning and so far no tickets are available.

What sort of format is this in? A genuine gig type atmos or simply a TV studio with a couple of people stood on the peripherals looking bored?

Not encrypted? Since when have any Canal+ channels been in the clear?

I admit I've stayed on 28.2E since my motorised dish died a death, but if its in the clear, I might go up and hammer the dish 9 degrees further west...

Anyone who lives in France can receive Canal + not encrypted on certain time slots and for certains shows only. Just like national TV.

Cartoons in the morning are free of charge, news in the evening, the famous "Guignols de l'info" as well as "l'Album de la Semaine" and some other short shows. It's called Canal+ "En Clair" (in the clear indeed).

Good marketing technic, don't you think?
