I understand that Gillian is no longer involved in New Order. However, I doesn't seem right that she isn't included in older pictures of New Order. Sure, she wasn't involved in WFTSC, but come on. She was in the band for nearly 20 years. I'd say Philbert still has a long f**king way to go! Look at this picture, these are old photos. Are they trying to convince us that Gillian was never a part of New Order?
And if they distribute it right it might go Double Aluminum with sales of approximately 3.5 people making the purchase.

No, she did go up to the stage: she was having a laugh with Chris Lowe.
Gillian hasn't been fully active in NO since before GR so I can understand why she's not on the front cover - there is a pic of her in the actual article though.
It's not right that she's being forgotten; not right at all. 
Then again, I wouldn't expect the muppets at the NME to remember her. Half of them can't even seem to remember what happened last week!

I've got a little fantasy in my head of No performing "The River" or "Superhighways" live...perhaps with Gillian stepping onstage for vocal duties...aaaahhhhh the things I dream up...or just as well Barney on vox. Also, other dreams of Electronic, Monaco, Revenge songs being thrown in there somewhere...how about a huge live version of Revenge's "Underworld" w/ Hooky crooning and holding his arms way out....man "The River" hits me hard everytime I hear it though...Thx G.
Or how about a special one off gig with a massive fanbased setlist that's available as a download, or tv broadcast, or special DVD, oh well I'll watch it tonight in my dreams...of course these dreams don't take away from the pure joy to know that No are still making music/performing and being ap·pre·ci·at·ed....rockon yall.
The most important thing is that the band and the fans will never forget Gillian's contribution...

The band dont mention Gillian as the reason she left the band is personal and difficult. The only person really able to qualify discussion of that is Steve...And to be honest, Im sure he doesnt want his daughter all over the press all the time. I dont think she has been written out of anything. Stop being such a bunch of fucking babies.
It must be odd for her, though. I've just got this image of Gillian pottering around the farmhouse not knowing what to do with herself, hearing Steve, Barney, Hooky and Philbert (love the name!) jamming away on some new songs in the barn next door. She pops her head round the door with a tray of teas saying "This ones got a good beat. Err... can I have a quick tinkle on the keyboards to this one, I might come up with something." And them all saying "No, just let it go, you've made your decision, you've retired." The truth of the matter is after they've all gone to the pub she sneaks back in and programs a load of new tunes into the equipment for them. When they returned, off their heads, they think they created it. Secrets out, Gillian is the real svengali behind New Order.

On the subject of offensive staements the E! Online review of Doves new album says its "as infectious as bird flu".In a few months time when thousands if not millions could be dying of the pandemic i think that journo might feel a bit bad.
Just got to hope that Gillian comes back at some stage - I feel that there is something missing from the sound without her.
Although Philbert (I thought It was PHILLIAN?) is doing a great job - next album NO as a 5 piece
