To swing it all back on topic for a moment, Patrick there have been album mixes before, but not so overtly credited, I feel.
The David Kahne mix of 60 Miles an Hour and the Chris Lord Alge mix of Round and Round are two examples, but neither made the final album cut. They ended up on promos.
:\pimp3:
There are some superb Round & Round Re-mixes (Round & Re-mix to name but two). To me, they symbolise the last triumphant 'proper' alternative versions of songs that had their own credit and worth. Thereafter (well, after the conclusion of Technique and periphery material) re-mixes became the normal thing to do and also inherited a predictable tone.
If Pastie felt the urge to tell you, his occupation is not only impressive - it will both surprise and inspire you to write books.

Good guess, H, but not soup. Tomatoes, cucumbers, and baked fish. Although I haven't actually started eating yet. DC was correct in his estimate of how I would deal with a serious panic.
Speaking of, or rather to, DC, thanks for the response on my mixed-by question. It appears that many hands had their part in this little project.
I couldn't work out what time it might be down there in DC (Washington). If I had, I would have suggested tommy's and cucumbers but maybe not baked fish. Sounds healthy though.
I wonder if DC could guess what your line of work is down there in, DC.
Fishmonger?

Is it anything to do with raccoons?
:\pimp3:
Huntsman/patrick - Have you heard the 30 sec clips of each of the songs on the new album in the Music section yet? Gave in to temptation and gave them a listen. I'm pretty optimistic I'd say.
There was quite a nice Chem bros remix thing of Here to stay on Retro I liked as well Huntsman. That's more your thing surely?
Is there? ... I'll have to check.
I have the fantastic Retro package with additional diskette. I'll spin the disk tonight.
There's a 30 second clip library? ... mmmm. Your optimistic? - this bodes well.
Temptation here we come. Or not. Oh I don't know now.

Is he a druid?

The Extended Instrumental? Tis the finest mix of said track.

I'm holding back, especially now that I have paid eil a ridiculous amont of money to send me a promo copy of the album. But based on all the signs (except for Muffy) I'm quite optimistic.

Look - Hank's waded in to back up the instrumental version. I will defo' give that a whirl.
P - why don't you set the record straight, there's no shame in selling monkey nuts.

It is where Huntsy's from.
Do you show groups of Belgians around the White House?

If I was the two of you, I'd wait the two weeks and crack the seal of the genuine article. You're like two virgin brides waiting to be monstered at some motel in Slough on your wedding nights.

H, if you would like, feel free. I'm sure you will find a more delicate way to put it than I could.

:\pimp3:
what, suicidal?
That's quite a picture.
Based on that I'm waiting.
If New Order were more commercial-savvy, they could have addressed the current trend for robbing on the netty and simply called their new album 'Please Wait for the Sirens Call album'.
The Pet Shop Chaps twigged onto this back in the 80's but by the time the internet was in mass use most people had already purchased the album and they missed out on the download craze.
If I ever write a musical bound for Broadway, and a subsequent CD comes out - I might call that 'Never Please Download Me'. With the first song called '30 Second Download Clip' (running time 3:56).
I'd probably get a lion to sing on it like Disney do. It'll make me a small fortune and I'd blow it all on a mule refuge.

But it's more than two weeks. Released on the 28th, and who knows how long it will take my copy from Amazon UK to arrive.

I don't think I've got it in me to write something serious. And even if I had, I doubt anybody would believe me.
Maybe better to plant the mental image I have of you - if anyone has seen Trading Place Mats than P is a character within some of the scenes where Edward Murphy is scampering away from the cops in a posh kind of exclusive gentleman's club.

A little bit off topic... Does anyone know where this Krafty video shooting scene took place? I looks very... hm soviet enviroment? Reminds me of Desnogorsk town in Russia.
It would be rude to vacate after such a level of chattering without waving good day. So good day. To one and all.

Yes, I think it is Desnogorsk town, in Russia. You can make out the hot dog stand that can be found there on Tuesday's.

I believe I saw that film once.
I can see I'm being thrown no more bones here.
My last guess: is he some sort of performance artist? Modern dance perhaps, something rhythmic, interpretive, backed perhaps by a sort of cacophony of household appliances?
