Do people agree that it's about time 'Here To Stay' got a live outing this year? It's a bit of a stormer I've not tired of hearing, and - as far as I can remember - the only NO single to not get a live outing.

Would be great to hear it live.

Don't think Spooky was ever played live. Thank God!

Nor was Murder.

Definitely! I remember half expecting it to show up at the Finsbury Park gig three or four years back. We got World In Motion instead. What a letdown!

And the "new song" that was, Brutal.

I bet with New Order playing a gig with "Chemical Brothers" that they will definitely be playing "Here to Stay"...what a great song!

Didn't they collaborate with Chem.Bros. on that song?

I thought they played 'Spooky' on a few of the Republic dates??

There is no such thing as "definitely" with New Order. Not even Blue Monday or Temptation.

Nope. Regret, Ruined, World, Everyone Everywhere and even Special once, but no Spooky.

I'd like to see Here To Stay done, but the Chemicals only produced it, so its not like its dependent on them being there - we'd be more likely to see Out Of Control if they were going to play together.

Ah, 'Special', that was it. Knew it started with an 'S'! So, just 'Spooky' and 'Here To Stay' never had a live spin. Not bothered about hearing 'Spooky', but 'Here To Stay' would still be fab. Of course, 'Someone Like You' was a single too... That never got a look in.

I doubt very much that New Order would play anything from a side project live, or anything that an individual member has done with another band - I don't think they ever have - have they?

I'd love to see/hear them play 'WDYWFM' or 'Vivid' but I don't think that's going to happen... sadly...

HTS is one of my favorite songs but I have a feeling it'll sound crap live. One of the strongest points of the song I find are the vocals and I know Barney would screw them up. I remember when Crystal came out and I heard a live version of it; I was pretty disappointed because the vocals sounded too strained.

It was at the Roskilde Festival in 1993.

I have an audience recording of that somewhere. It didn't seem the right track to play in a festival, and I'm not sure it came out very well live. The drums seemed to be too loud, but that might be because of the poor quality of the recording.
