Anything less than top five will be a disappointment. I'd hope for #1, but I'd say straight in at #4.

My local Tesco has it at 15, Sainsbury's 1.

Teletext has Tony Christie for 1 closely run by Basement Jaxx :confused2:

I guess the problem is that if people like me buy it off Cd-wow and others from Play, their purchases don't count towards the UK chart.

I think it'll make top ten. All the recent NME malarkey and Krafty making #8 in the singles chart would seem to point towards that. I would guess it might reach somewhere between #6 and #9. So I'll pick #7. Charts mean sod all anyway so no matter what position New Order reach there will be a hundred shitty hip hop albums to knock it off it's place within a week. But I do hope they make top ten at least.

the who have got a new album? tesco's have G4 (not the computer) at 1. our overseas brotherhood will have missed the joy of seeing 4 out of shape barbershopboys do an 'operatic' version of radiohead's creep on the same TOTP as krafty. the competition is stiff (especially two of the who)

I reckon it will be number 4 behind Tony Christie, Basement Jaxx and, probably, Stereophonics. Didn't 'Get Ready' chart at '4'??? It would be mad if 'Krafty' and 'WFTSC' mirrored the chart positions of 'Crystal' and 'Get Ready' :)

Didn't Get Ready enter at number 7? Number 5 is not bad, but there weren't so many competitors (while I remember Get Ready's week was much more busy and New Order achieved to enter just one position below The Strokes' ultra-hyped debut)... I mean New Order should be still more popular than Basement Jaxx and the fookin Stereophonics album is not a new release... Anyway it's still a nice results and confirms them as a Top 10 band with a legendary history and still popular music... this should keep quiet the skeptics at Warners, if there's any, until the next album (hoping the album doesn't drop out of the Top 30 next week)... I'm curious to see if they chart in Italy... Get Ready amazingly spent a couple of weeks around number 40, an excellent achievement for New Order since they hadn't been really popular since the golden days of True Faith, which was as popular as Depeche Mode's Never Let Me Down Again... but it's also true Get Ready was much more palatable to the alternative fans, though maybe WFTSC will appeal more to the pop kids...
