I was recently told that Hooky had done a Paul Young-style deal with House & Garden or some other magazine of that type. In a nutshell we were given a guided tour around the house. The friend has since thrown out the said magazine. Can anyone verify this? If so please scan it so we can all have a giggle. I can see it all.........sheepskin throws, cow horns to drink out of, longship in the garden.

The article you refer to - I have - can't remember what magazine it was in but it was a good 2 or 3 years ago - my scanners fucked - I'll try and get someone to do it;) Nice fuckin house it was too, and I'm sure he had one of the statues from the RUINED video in his garden!!
Yeah, I think it was in Manchester Life or Cheshire Life or something. Tony Wilson's been in it too. Hooky's wife has a design shop in Didsbury that sells cushions and furniture etc. Seem to remember Hooky's house being a bit minging. I know all about Barney's house as I know his cleaner and gardner and I pester them for info like a freak.

Yeah, it was in Cheshire Life a year or so back. A lad I work with was visiting his in-laws Ooop North and came back taking the piss about it. Never saw a copy meself though.
