Got it from HMV in Wimbledon today. Display was right inside the front door, quite a few people were grabbing their copies just like me, all of them looked like members of the over-40's brigade, just like me

I made that mistake too. Haven't even had a confirmation of posting and it's still showing as preorder on my account. If I get the usual "it's been delayed" bullshit from them I shall cancel my order and pick it up from Sainsbury's. It pisses me off that they are so crap at getting new release CDs on time but great with DVDs. I read here that someone already got there copy from Play.com 
I've lost my burned copy. Haven't been listening to it much as a result, doesn't sound as good just selecting the tracks and can't be bothered orgasing a playlist. Got it on order form 101cd with the vinyl as well. Couldn't see it in Asda's Aintree brach earlier. They had some galangal though, which kind of compensates.
I've been waiting desperately for today's release and didn't so much as download a copy or even listen to Told You So when the girlfriend got it for free on a magazine cover CD.
HMV Manchester for 3 copies (for me, the girfriend and my good mate of a boss who retires this week) and snaffled him a CD of Technique for a fiver.
I managed to wangle my bluetooth phone to get a 30 second clip of "1 NO Waiting for the Sirens Call" which is now my ringtone.
On my 4th listen to the disc and I have that familiar feeling as the music grows on me... get in !

I guess they didn't rush on the imported copies and will have to see the domestic release at the end of April...
Going down to the local MVC tomorrow (or failing that, Smiths!) to go and buy the UK copy...

Well I went to HMV and it cost me £12.99, then to find out Solihull Woolies 15 metres opposite had it for £9.97 in a big cardboard display twatting you in the face as you walked in. doh! Anyway I don't like getting anything from Woolies so morally i feel ok.
HMV were playing it as I went in (ITYS) and the Manager I'm sure (over 40 looking) was a big fan because he scanned it in to the chart return computer twice. 
Excellent glossy photos...I wonder if the Rabbit was inspired from the BLT video film snippet? But where were the bugs? Perhaps on the bush infront of them flats.
Got my copy from HMV with student discount. Having not heard the whole thing i was impressed. Storming album, and already a top contender for album of the year.
I look forward to annoying people on the bus with it tomorrow.

Yes, I was one who downloaded it, I'll make up for it by buying a couple copies of the album and all of the singles.
I'll check out Eugene this weekend to see if any of the decent stores might have a copy, I know for certain I ain't gonna get one in fookin' Corvallis, where men are men and sheep are nervous.
I was actually shocked to see that they put the whole album online for preview. I could have seen a couple of tracks, but the whole album just lying there waiting to be captured, burned, copied and distributed throughout the entire universe. One of these fell like manna from heaven into my hands, but I will be buying the album as I presume the sound quality will be a tad better, I'd like to have the sleeve, and I gotta spend my money on something.
Nope, steered clear of dodgy downloading. Ordered it 2-3 weeks ago through the Amazon link on here. Got an email on Friday informing me it's been dispatched. With the bank holiday I expect it'll be about Thursday before I receive it. I have "I Told You So" on the NME cover disc, obviously heard "Krafty" a shit load of times, listened to "Guilt Is A Useless Emotion" a fair bit on NOOL but other than that, nothing. Can't wait for the cd to arrive.

Rather rashly, after just a handful of plays, I think it's probably amongst the best they have done, considering the time they have been around. And that from an old timer like me who rates PCL & Movement as their best works - nice to be surprised, after all this time, isn't it.

Bought it in Woolies in Muzzy Hill around 2pm yesterday arvo, despite living 100 yards from a Woolies in Crouch End, but wandering up to MH cos I naively thought they still had a 'proper' record shop where I could make said purchase. Seems MH, like Crouch End, is festooned with coffee shops instead nowadays. Arse.
What happened to the promo versions doing the rounds recently? Thought the Jetstream one was rank, admittedly, but did like the alternate opening of Working Overtime. Shame that never made the album, had me in mind of Weirdo's chaotic first couple of bars.

What's happened is that Old Blue's gone awfully quiet on it since scooping it as an exclusive promo of the final album master.
I guess it was more like the Get Ready Pre-Mix promo that did the rounds prior to the commercial release.
