Better than some of the shite written thus far but I still don't understand why these people don't actually talk about the music itself, instead making endless, pointless comparisons. Reviews mean fuck all, but this one was ok.

flowery review that doesn't really say much. But I'll tell it how i think it is... WFTSC is mediocre at best. Krafty is the only stand out song. At least there is no "rock the shack" on this album. but it's pretty uninspiring. It's like the blue print for this album apart from a couple of tracks was "state of the nation" and we all surely agree that SotN is by far the worst NO single. in fact i would say the only single ever that hasn't lived up to being NO standards. it's very mediocre...unfortunately. they should just release a single every year instead of albums.

I guess you don't need to listen to it then eh

Completely disagree with the above rubbish. I think WFTSC is above-average, not a complete classic, but if I say GR was a three star effort with at least three throw away tracks, then WFTSC is a four star effort with only one really throw away track, Hey Now What You Doing.  Overall, I do hear three solid singles on the album, Krafty, WFTSC, and Dracula's Castle. Two monster album tracks - Who's Joe and Turn. A nice experiment, I Told You So, that grows on me daily. A brilliant drinking diddy, Morning Night and Day, which makes me want to get a beer. BRB....with a Grolsch. A good song for the ladies - Jetstream, my gf loves it and thinks it is the best thing they've done since breathing life into the beast again in 1998, and a decent dancetrack, GIAUE, which would meld nicely live with Fine Time.  And to close it up, I quite like the very Who-like Working Overtime, which lets Steve get out his inner Keith Moon.  Overall, a very good album indeed in my opinion.:music:

This months uncut also has an interestign article about the use of flutes in dance songs, I think its a precurser to the channel for top 100 flute dance songs thats being presetned by non other than torvill and dean.

Aha!  That is exactly why I stopped buying music magazines.  All the reviewers do is showcase obscure references and witty wannabe-intellectual anecdotes.  I often wonder if they even listen to the whole album.

Hey Joe matey. disagree all you want with me rubbish. It's my opinion mate. seriously, if you really believe that Get Ready is a three star album then you are delusional...my opinion! blind faith just don't cut it with me. if it's crap then i call it. and as i said, WFTSC isn't bad, it's solid. which is better than a lot of other stuff. don't worry, one day you'll agree with me. But for now, go off and have fun.
