one or two are only low quality, pioneer skies has only a 1 minute or so version on line.

Ive had it for a couple of months now, its called "Come With Us". An id have to say im not that impressed, its a very "commerical dance" album, and i thought that the production is awful, very very raw, some how doesn't sound finished to me...
'Star guitar' and 'Come with us' the title track are both scheduled for release either end of january so that probably rules out the NO/Chems collaberation till late Feb at the earliest.

Have you considered your copy may not be finsihed so far ahead of the release, some of the getready mp3's were altered prior to release.
well, i downloaded "Star Guitar", "Come with us" and "My elastic eye"...hm...very unspectacular...just some simple dancetracks...not my cup of tea...
...hope it isn't a bad omen for the NewOrder collaboration... 
The Chemical Brothers have always been hit and miss IMO. I would have much preferred if NO had worked with Underworld or Leftfield.
or maybe the Crystal Method....hmmm...a Crystal Method remix of Crystal...now that would have been entertaining...
I've played Star Guitar about 12 times now, initially quite quietly as I downloaded it at about 12.00am, I think it's immense, it starts of like True Faith(the bit at about 30 seconds anyway) and screams New Order all the way through it(the line 'there are so many ways you can kill someone' springs to mind ), If anyone has read why they called 'got glint', 'got glint', I think you'll know what I mean when I say the only down side is, I'm not ten years younger and unlikely to be enjoying this on a night out.
Am I the only one that thinks "Hey Boy, Hey Girl" is a stripped-down, pumped-up homage to "Temptation"???
not sure about the 'Hey Boy Hey Girl' thing Martin, but I agree Star guitar's a great track. I liked 'Afrika' as well, sounded superb when I heard it in Turnmills a few months back.
They're a strange one the chems...I sort of think I really like them, have their albums, but to be honest haven't really ever listened to those albums.
Yeah, The Chems are OK, but a bit one-dimensional: kind of the techno Oasis. As in, sounds bloody great with eight pints inside you, but you wouldn't want to play it at home. That new single IS a stormer, but you'll all be bored shitless with it in a months time.
Is that "Order vs. Chems" single still happening?

I think Star Guitar is a brilliant track, reminds me a lot of Daft Punk. Bit spacy, great percussion bits. I also saw that they will be touring Europe in March and April. And unlike some other band (whose name I won't mention..) they will be doing a concert in Holland as well! :D
"the test" from the new album isn't too bad...maybe it's because Richard Ashcroft is doing vocals... 
Didn't think much of "It Began In Afrika" though - it made no impression on me whatsoever. The sound of the Chems on autopilot sadly. Not their finest single. When they wig out and go all eclectic bananas on us that's when they are fucking unstoppable.
That New Order collaboration had better be a fucking stormer then - if only to save both bands's careers from sliding u-bend-wards..... seriously.
Will they get a third number one with this newie then d'you think? Or will it do a "Get Ready" ?

Yeah thats what i thought, because it definetly sounds very raw, the chemical brothers are professionals, they wouldn't release somthing that is so under produced.
by the way if you missed it, the chemical brothers have announced an Australian tour in March, playing festival hall in melb and bris, and the horden pavilion in sydney, and maybe a couple of others i can't remember. Tickets go on sale Jan 14th.

...yeah, they're playing three gigs in germany in march as well...
