TODAY's mag, surely?!
It's a London thang! [Y]
Aren't you privelleged to have loo paper one day earlier than us 'northern' monkeys!?! ![]()
They just named them godlike geniuses AFTER hearing the album, so I doubt it will be a bad review!!
Plus, they're English, and therefore prone to hyperbole.
I wouldn't be surprised if they gave it either a 9 or a 4.
It only comes out in some places on a tuesday in london, most other places it comes out on a wednesday.
Anything less than a 9 would be a travesty.
This album ranks up with Technique and Low Life. Godlike geniuses indeed :D

Today's wednesday, isn't it?
It appears NME were fibbing on their email to me about the review being in yesterdays/todays review section. I spent £1.90 to read a bunch of twats slagging No off in the Letters pages.
One idiot wrote: LWTUA "does not deserve the brutal treatment he (Barney) inflicted upon it at the NME awards". Prior to that he said LWTUA is nearly as good as Blobbie Williams' Angels. Say no more! [8o|] The letters editor pointed this stupid statement out about Angels so i congratulate him on that.
Anyway next week for the WFTSC review then.

One may have THAT opinion...
But not this one...

You can't blame New Order for the music track of LWTUA at the NME Awards.. you might not like hearing Bernard sing over it, but now that's something else.
But what can you do, Ian's dead and there is no reason in the world why the band who wrote the song can't play it...!
I was amused by the pesron in the NME letters page who said "the only genius in New Order is how they managed to fool people into thinking they had talent".Shit , the Order have finally been sussed after all these years!.Ah ... but.... it takes talent to be genius and shit at the same time.
D'oh! (smacks forehead)
Sorry - I rarely speak/think in acronyms. Especially when the title in question deserves the respect of being typed in full.

Ha, that'd be about right for the NME! That's the sort of idiot you usually get writing in. What did the letters editor say to that?

The Ed didn't comment on this guy because he was so taken aback about what the third letter said about Angels being a better song than LWTUA (Lepricorns Will Tear Unicorns Apart if i need to spell it out for some of you
).
However the Ed's reply to that was based around having a a blunt kitchen instrument to hand for Blob Williams' No 1 fan.
