There were also bands who didn't enjoy all the success they deserved, like Danny Wilson, and bands who made only one great song in their whole sorry careers, but made it in 1987, like Deacon Blue with Loaded...

You just felt that pop music (even mainstream) was becoming great,  while today watching MTV is a torture and you have to wait  hours  for a decent video, and it's Krafty! ;)

Speaking of which, an Italian female singer just copied the camera work around the bed, she made a whole video like that!

I like Franz F.  I've got the album but honestly I don't listen to it very much.  I like them in 30 second snippets.

Who the hell are the Libertines?  All I know is their singer is/was a crackhead, so naturally he's dating Kate Moss.

i don't understand how any one expects anything from the nme other than total shite. they're just... words can't describe how crap that mag is now. i don't know why it doesn't just give up.

Just as I predicted of course...you know very well how the UK music rags work...build 'em up and break them down.

Hmm.The heading for the review is "SAME OLD ORDER" and the taste left by the review is that the guy doesn`t like it because he thinks they are the same old order.But funnily enough  after digging out the Get Ready review the caption to the pic of the band reads "SAME OLD NEW ORDER- JUST THE WAY WE LIKE IT".So they liked the same old thing back in 2001 but not now
