I am so jealous to see that new order will be playing with Chemical Brothers... and not in Montreal!!! I want them to come to Montreal!!! I have been waiting for so long!! what can we do to see them in Canada???[:'(]

You'll have to set up your very own New Order website Jashugan, then maybe they will come to Montreal....... [;)]

I have serious doubts we could fill the Spectrum with New Order... most band these days seems to go to the Metropolis, but just how many people can get in the Metropolis ?!? Forget Bell Centre already!

You'd have better luck of having Peter Hook to do a DJ set, but I already tried to ask around, since Peter asks for a business class plane ticket for his wife & him, you are likely to lose money out of such an event, so unless you get a major sponsor, it won't happen.

I love Club Soda! That and metropolis can have 2000 people. Which is great! Moby is doing Metropolis this april (woo hoo!). How much do you think the band takes to play?? if tickets are 40$ * 2000 that's like 80 000$. Minus the room which must be 10 000$ for the night (I'm guessing here but I think it is less). that leaves us 70 000 to pay for the band, the technicians, the airplanes... I think it's feasable... and of course, they'll be like 20$ left for us! ha ha ha! But seriously, I think we can do it... THE problem being, how to talk to NEW ORDER!!!!! I think there must be 2000 fans in montreal!

Talking with the band management is not really a problem, but then again, to do such an event, you must have a lot of money to invest, and there are tons of things to do... so unless you're Donald K Donald, I doubt you can do all you need to do within 6 weeks...

I do agree that 6 weeks is not a lot of time. As for the money, on the concert date, you should have all the money (if you sold all the tickets). so therefore, I think money is not the main issue. The biggest issue is all the management to put this thing up! And I have no idea if all the technician are from the band or not!! Oh well, I guess I'll just dream about it...

But do you have an idea of what New Order 's fee for a gig???
