Full page ad in this week's Chicago Reader:

They're using the same graphics on XRT's website as well promoting the gig.
Do you get credit or anything of the sort? BTW XRT also lists NOOL as the official site ;)

Now, I don't know if I should take it the positive way or the negative way....
Negative: It's copyrighted, they didn't ask permission, WenOrder designed that logo...
Positive: They gave me tickets...
If I were WenOrder, I'd try to get tickets out of this... ![]()
You should keep that one safe for Mike's portfolio ;)
Well I'll hang onto it for his portfolio. Mike's coming to the Chicago gig right? I'll try to grab another copy or two if you want.
I think Jam Productions would have done the advertising for this since they're the promoter. You or Mike can contact them at contactjam@jamusa.com . However they are a very cool promoter (probably one of the top two or three in the industry, along with Bill Graham in California and Fey in Colorado) because they're about the most anti-Clear Channel group out there! ;)

Oh and by the way, it's hard to tell from the photo I put up, but the logo in the ad is clearly designed anew. Meaning, it doesn't look like they just took the actual jpg graphic from NOOL and blew it up to put in the ad. The detail in the leaf is pretty clear, so either someone at New Order's management supplied them with graphics, or they did it themselves with a copy of the True Faith sleeve and matched the font with what NOOL uses in the logo... The font in the text part of the ad is the same as the one in the logo too.

Our leaf is also a newly traced one, but if they picked one, they probably got it from the About page, there it's in much better quality

Still, it's a GIF, so not print quality...
