Lou Reed is gay?

Lou Reed batted for both sides for many years. "Transformer" was as much a "coming out" record as JD's "Closer" was a suicide note. Well worth getting a copy of Transformer if you haven't heard it !

I think Lou Reed's been straight for the past twenty years, but back in the Velvet years he was bi. Transformer is an excellant LP, Goodnight Ladies is the perfect cabaret song.

So he turned from bi to straight?? :skeptic:

I imagine he's still into both. I remember a quote in Victor Bockris' book calling Lou a "closet heterosexual"

"That football player" is the legendary Phil Stant. I was presenting him with a bottle of bubbly (which had been wrapped) for winning the Player of the Month award at WCFC. What he did with it in the dressing room is presently unknown :)
