Try these two links Tabsy, they both sell region 1. If your player is'nt multi-region it won't play region 2 titles remember, which 316 is.

It's probably region 1. There will be a little world symbol on the back with a number in it, that tells you which regions the machine can play. Unless yours has had a multi-region modification done to it it will only play region 1 discs.
That'll come in handy to know before I go DVD shopping tomorrow (first on my list: Blade Runner, Rushmore, Brazil, and MP and the Holy Grail)

Alright Tabsy! very nice choices! The Rutles DVD is okay in terms of the goodies they add on DVDs these days, so I wouldn't rush toget it right off the bat(mostly interviews w/Mick Jagger and Paul Simon, the ability to watch the songs with their 'videos' from the movie, and a rather unremarkable intro by Eric Idle).
Did get Monty Python and the Holy Grail-special edition with an extra disc of goodies. Just got home from the parents so I haven't watched it yet, but I know for sure that I will not be disappointed. Also, The Filth and The Fury is an absolute must buy. Bought it before I had a DVD player as the movie didn't play anywhere around here, the same situation that I'm sure you're in. Had been looking to seeing the Grundy interview for a long, long, while. Lots of other great stuff in it as well.

porn on DVD is also very interesting...but I won't go into much detail here...don't want to disgust the females on line...but it's much better than what you get on tape...

If you like U2 they have a new dvd out (Elevation, Live from Boston)that was a Christmas present...is quite ggod.and if you didn't see any of their shows, you didn't miss a thing by owning the dvd

We got a DVD for the house this Christmas........WOW.....what a difference! I bought Top Gun (I already know most of the dialouge by heart) and Pearl Harbor (a whole lot of mushy bull-crap to get to the explosions and blood) and the wife got Moulin Rouge (what an ass beating 
)
Anyway, Jeff I'll have to take your word for the enhanced viewing pleasure of adult materials until the wife goes out of town :)

I actually starred in a porno, "The Adventures of Dr. Hothands", in 1999. I was the Dr. Hothands of the title, and I ran a spa for wayward nuns on the Italian coast. Very low-budget, but we were able to get Peter O'Toole to make a cameo. He chewed the scenary, but we kept him in. Good laughs all around.....
I picked up the High Fidelity DVD today (wanted the special edition of Brazil but nowhere was it to be found 
) Haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Thought about getting The Thing as well, but I chickened out...
