Different cover to LWTUA

Holy shite, I cant believe all the covers to Love will tear us apart. I was looking for the song title by the Cure and i came up with 7 or 8 different covers, and theres probably more. I can remember Paul Young.

The Cure themselves covered it on one occasion.

The cream of the covers is the Squarepusher version, in my book.

The ones by Invincible Limits and by Swans were pretty good if i remember right

The folks over a JDC seemed to like the recent Honeyroot version. Must confess I didn't - even with the blonde god Glenn Gregory on vocals.

cheack how many others did this song. The one you mentioned wasnt in this search so that leaves at least 10 covers

Hawksley Workman did (an average) cover of LWTUA in 2003.

Love the one by Swans, but the new version by Nouvelle Vague is pretty breezy.

Both versions (red and black) by Swans are good. The Cure's a very good also, as is Squarepusher's.

I like the Dance Monkeys version, personally.

I like Digital's version.

My personal favorites are by Moonspell, Flowing Tears and The Diary.

VERY intriguing idea! I would love to hear that, too. I wonder how it would turn out? PSB, IMO, are great at covering songs, but they've definitely never covered a song as good as LWTUA before.

squarepusher's version is great, but jah division's version called "dub will tear us apart" is also worth an ear too!
