This has been done before but as there's lots of new posters we need an update.

How many New Order gigs have you been to?

6 for me.

Berkeley 9.18.1987 Santa Barbara 4.30.1989 Irvine 6.16.1989 Mountain View 7.24.1993 Hollywood 7.26.1993 Mountain View 7.31.2001

Also, Monaco in San Francisco 8.11.1997

Not too bad for a "Septic", but I'm prepared to be shamed by quite a few of you.

I think that makes you officially hardcore Andy, and you should be awarded a Vikings badge! Make sure you see Al at Oakland!

Freaking ZERO. Including the may 5th incoming that i dont have tix for. I'm still steamed that my sister went to the sugarcubes/new order/PiL concert back in the 80's and dissed me hard because she could drive and didn't want to look uncool bringing her little brother.

Bizarre Festival, Loreley 1993 Cologne 2001, supporting Robbie Williams Cologne 2001, E-Werk.

I also had a ticket for a REVENGE-show in 1991 (?) at Frankfurt's "Batschkapp". The show got cancelled, 'cos the band had a car-accident on the highway... was the statement of the booker. but maybe it was because there were only about 15 people showing up at club-opening time... :skeptic:

I don't think so, some days later they played a short-term announced gig in Stuttgart, and there weren't many more people, including me...

  1. I can think of several people on here who eclipse that figure, including some who nearly beat it in 2001-02 alone, and who will no doubt be nearer the hundred figure by August! They are the true hardcore.

He doesn't need to, OB - he just looks in the mirror.

Oh, and to get back on topic - a whopping 2 for me, both in Melbourne (BDO and Metro). Plus an instore, but that doesn't really count..

"An instore". What a desperado.

Anything for a Viking badge.

Maybe Cologne 2001, Mungersdorfer Stadium, support for Robbie Williams should do it.

Seeing Al Jarvis in a pub before an Interpol gig was good enough for me...
