I know, I mean I've booked the flights and hotels and everything (well, JG did at least) but the thought of hearing Sunrise, Subculture and Face Up in a dingy pub basement.. .. . ![]()

I feel let down...... the only way you can make amends is to send me a couple of those nifffffty badges.....please
I might be there!
Checking True Faith, I reckon it's the same basement as Joy Division played in many moons ago so you're treading on famous boards there.
The finest moment of my short-lived semi-pro music career was playing at The Moonlight Club in West Hampstead, also the venue that hosted a JD gig. Cool!

Certainly is the same venue Al, and a very nice place to play it is too. Is this the 4th Re: Order show there? Always a good night out, and recommended for all you fans of the New Order live experience.
It's a pity the Rat and Parrot (formerly the Moonlight Club) aren't interested in gigs at the moment, they have missed out this year!

No it's the 3rd time. Great venue, the atmosphere has always been sexually charged when we play there![]()

You know what Leeds birds are like, I would be overdressed by the usual standard!

I hardly think Ness's top could be called skimpy, so thank the lord there's no autocue more than half of the appeal of being on stage is being distracted by the view
RE : ORDER no need to explain...New Order return and re: order likewise...all the hits and a little more of the darker danker corners of the NO/Joy Div back catalogue too.
This is the write up in the bugbear listings page.... love the 'darker danker corners' .
sorry to flag this up again...I have new art
here's a direct flyer link:
http://www.thieveslikeus.co.uk/web-content/subpages/flyers.html
and this is what it looks like.
what our model is holding is not the flyer but an artyfact (Fake100?) a prop - the photographic image and subsequent print is in itself the flyer. this is my attempt to be as complex and obtuse as peter saville. a true tribute would have only made these available for the next gig though? I would also like to add, this flyer is not a pipe. pretentious us?
on the matter of gigcount: we played two sets at the first one and we'll be playing two next friday so I think that rounds out at about 3.63 gigs?
regarding the curtis night at the spread eagle
for those interested, there are handy hand-sized handouts available here: http://www.thieveslikeus.co.uk/web-content/subpages/flyers2.html there's three to choose from and the image themself should be printable (the links are fullsize posters for the venue) I offer these up because a) it took me a while to make them and b) they might be useful reminders to attach to the fridge door they are not tickets or reduced entry offers as I believe Volunteer (the promoters) won't be charging entrance on the door. you may have to pay to leave though!!
this is for available for 'Digital' distribution too, so any response appreciated on/offline...
Not that I'm trying to bring it to the top of the pile or anything.......
I'm reckoning we must have beaten their record of playing at the Hope & Anchor now....perhaps they can reclaim their mantle someday!
Apologies for the blatent attempt at self promotion.
Quality as allways
opened with Eligia, played all all of low-life then finished with the greatest hits.
Cheers guys
