Where would Murder have gone?

So if Murder was originally on Power,Corruption and Lies, where in the album would you put it? Maybe before Your Silent Face. Apologies for the geeky nature of this thread.

I would say after The Village. It would fit nicely there I think.

I'd have to agree on both points. That is the perfect place for the song (if it were to be on the album).

I agree that 2 instrumentals in a row would be unusual - but I like it when a band does the unusual.

Also, I consider both songs quasi-instrumentals, as they both have vocal tracks - not necessarily singing, but there is more than simply instruments in the songs.

But, I consider the 2 songs quasi-instrumentals as both have vocal tracks. Not full-fledged vocal tracks, but they both have more than just the instruments playing.

I agree with both statements.

Point being, it is too long of a break from Sumner. It would sound good on a compilation or something but I dunno, I would stick it in after the Village. I do agree with murder and ecstasy are top tier.

I would like it if New Order released a special cd version of PC&L with Murder on it, just to see where it would have been in the tracklisting.
