OK, I am going to see New Order in a couple of weeks. The only problem is that I am unfamiliar with a lot of their songs. :nono: Yeah... I know, I know. I'm slowly working my way backwards listening to their older stuff. What are the songs that they are playing live these days? I don't want to sit there scratching my head to an unknown song. These are the albums I currently have, so I'll know all the stuff from them:

Substance 1987 The Rest of New Order Get Ready Retro Waiting for the Sirens...

Then of course I've heard the "hits" from the other albums, I think. Like Love Vigalantes, World, World In Motion, etc.

But the stuff on Republic, Brotherhood, Low-life, Power Corruption Lies are still unfamiliar to me unless they appear on the discs I own. So a listing of songs they are playing these days would be greatly appreciated. :)

Didn't they say there were going to play a lot of older songs that they don't usually play live during this "tour"?

by "a lot" they meant 1, maybe 2. Someone mentioned EGG as a possibility and Hooky said he love Thieves Like Us but who knows what they're practicing. Hopefully something special because it's going to be a Brutal drive back to Palm Springs in the middle of the night if all we get is a modified Get Ready setlist.

There's nothing they'll play that you don't have on Retro, Get Ready and WFTSC.

And someone stated - not sure of the validity, just passing it on - that TPK is out of the question.

it's safe to assume that any track with multiple sequencer lines will not be added to the set. this includes almost all of their mid-period and Technique tracks. No Technique on this tour, yet again. I do hope i'm proven wrong.

You, sir, are a priveleged individual. I wouldn't bother 'learning' anything other than what you've had exposure to already.

You'll get your first listen to new New Order songs in the live arena which is what a lot of us here would now kill for the opportunity to experience!
