And when are they held, I know it's 2002, but when?

Haven't heard anything about the band's involvement, but surely they have to be involved don't they ?
As for when the games are, nobody seems to know or care, which is surprising really, as we actually stand a chance of winning some medals against the Commonwealth countries. After the perpetual embarrassment of "British" teams in all other sporting competitions against world nations, you'd think that maybethey could summon up some enthusiasm for beating the colonials, but no. Nobody gives a fuck, which is a real pity. All those chances to see happy smiling Australians with winners' medals......
most of the athletic events are now sold out. The games are being held in August. In fact ticket demand is very high, according to the media.

Commonewalth Games start on 25 July and will run until 4 August 2002.
