How's about a big meet of New Order Fans in London sometime during the summer?
Was thinking meet up for beers at a suitable location. If there's enough of us, maybe also head to a decent indie/dance type club in Camden or somewhere.
Am just trying to gauge interest at the moment, so post an answer and let me know.

Hmmmm, unfortunately I can't make the BIG New Order london thingy in Hyde Park as i can't get time off work :-(
however, a separate night/afternoon out at a bar/pub with some new order on the jukebox could be v.pleasant too.
am hoping new order add some proper indoor gigs sometime this year so i can go and see 'em then. or maybe they'll wait until they're promoting their next album due in 2006......
Ant, we've been doing this very sort of thing on a regular basis for the last four years or so! "London Order" callings together are often held in a range of iniquitous dens around the centre of the capital, sometimes with real live New Order as provided by Re: Order, sometimes with Shug singing down the phone (still an unforgettable experience matey!!), often with Pete leaving us for sunnier climes, occasionally with me turning up as well. These very pages are full of random details and the sordid truth of whatever goes on, so it will be worth checking back on a regular occurrence to see what is going down/up/down/up etc.
In fact, there will be a somewhat depleted convening this coming Friday at the Hope and Anchor in Islington, where the aforementioned Re: Order will be wheeling out the old autocue and tootling out a few melodica classics from yesteryear. http://www.thieveslikeus.co.uk for flyer and photo of chocolate biscuit.

I hope you're a fcuking brain surgeon and they've got you in to work on a Head of State or something ... else, what on earth could be more important?!
