So here they are until I figure why my DivX version is so crappy, they are scaled down, I have better quality files but they are HUGE.

Krafty Windows Media | Real Media

Love Will Tear Us Apart Windows Media | Real Media

The Real Media version will probably be better.

Spotnick, I have it also.. grabbed it with my ATI all in wonder card at full MPEG quality.. I also did it with a VHS deck (yuck!).. luckily I did it on tape to VHS since the show ran a little long, or my computer clock was short a minute or 2, cause the computer recording only has the first 30 seconds of Love Will Tear us Apart... I guess I will convert the VHS of that song thru my ATI card now..

I wish Sumner would stop screaming so much between songs and the whistling.. not awful, but just makes it look like they are trying too hard in their "old" age.. I didn't see an "auto-cue" but he was constantly looking to the floor it seemed.. guess all those drugs destroyed the memory...

Lookin' forward to see them in my home town, NYC baby, next week!!!! woot!

=)

I won't be able to get together with Frank Smarra or any of the no online guys.. but I will be there, somewhere.. I have to wait for my wife to get home from work.. unless I had a ticket for my 7 year old... he does like krafty, hehe.. but he likes Oasis more..

L8R..

 Thanks for this. Do you plan to put a HQ divx version up once you figure it out? They did a pretty decent job with LWTUA I thought. It was funny how barney wanted to do his dance and then realized the next verse was coming up.

I have 2 DivX files, but I have no clue why they are 400 and 200 mb each!

I then encoded them with Dr DivX and the quality was very poor...

So I'll have to investigate further...

Nice how ABC cut off LWTUA so abruptly. I hate that crap. I understand a schedule needs to be adhered to but that just sucks. My hubby watched it with me last night, and says: "What's wrong with Barney? Got a cold or something?" He was referring to Barney's red nose. Either a cold or lots of "warming spirits" backstage I guess.

BTW, You can spot the autocue at 4 min 29 sec. I know this sounds naive, but why does he need these? Do most most musicians use these? I guess if you have like 3 thousand songs it would get confusing after awhile? Enjoyed seeing them very much though.

:love2: Cheers, Veronica

I just added real media files, they should be better.

Check the torrent, it might end up being better.. I did record directly from digital receiver to my capture card, but for some reason, there were some interference.

I still have the 3 gb file (MPEG-2 high quality) of the whole show, I'll try to make a decent DivX copy of both files.

I downloaded the torrent files... am I the only one having trouble playing them ?!?!

Seems to have problem with a codec for MPEG2 somewhere.. because they trully don't show up correctly... started blank and when I put it further, the image is stopping, etc..

The back of Barney's shirt said Mohammed Ali?

While I'm grateful they had the opportunity to be on Kimmel, why couldn't the band's management try to get them on Jay Leno or David Letterman? They'd greatly increase their exposure. Imagine if they were to be on Saturday Night Live, even as far-fetched as it might sound. Duran Duran was on Leno 6 months ago, why not the Order?

Why do you think they didn't try to get them on Leno or Letterman?

I guess you'd have to see who those shows had on the same night to fully answer that question. Maybe Leno & Letterman had bigger (selling) acts booked. A lot of TV booking is about what demographic they're trying to pull in.

Personally, I think New Order should play Conan, given his penchant for hipper bands. And maybe SNL, depending upon whether SNL brings any good music onscreen these days.

Sorry, just found out the files won't play on Windows Media Player. If you've got DVD playback software on your PC, try opening the files with that.

I recommend installing the k-lite codec pack which will give you Media Player Classic and pretty much every codec you'll ever need.

Spotnick is welcome to host them here but they're quite large and they don't play nice with Windows Media Player so it's probably not worth it.
