Hi all, I submitted this question to NewOrderonline and the guy suggested I post it here in the forums. Thanks in advance for any assistance for this newbie.
I have a tape that was made for me back in the early 80's called "Warsaw" by Joy Division. It doesn't seem to have the same list of songs as the "Warsaw" EP that is listed on the NewOrderonline list. It has many of their well-known songs (Transmission, they walk in line, Interplay, etc...) in a really raw, rocking format. I love it and still listen to it often. What's the deal with that tape? I don't know if it was recorded from another tape or a record. Since it is on tape I'd be interested in buying a CD of that if one they exist. I can dredge up the song list in it's entirety if needed, but it is about 35-40 minutes long and not a 5-song EP. Any ideas about what that is? I recall seeing it on CD, or possibly album, in a Chicago alternative record store in the late 80's and always regret not buying it (my tape is gonna wear out!).
cheers, John
