I met Barney at the Palm Springs Airport and...

He was on crutches.

I'm back now from my trip, and just when I thought it couldn't get better it did! I was walking to the security check line and I see Al "Monster" Jarvis and his gang in line and they start screaming to me "Barney is in the line" So I go in my bag and grab my US Sirens' cd that I just bought and caught up to him just as he was about to go threw the security check point, I thanked him for the great shows, and for playing Atmosphere, because I new it was missed from Oakland. He thanked me and signed my cd cover. Then I said get better and left.

I always here about what a prick he could be, but he was soft spoken and quit nice. He was with Andy and I dont know where the rest of the band where?

I thought he hurt himself during Crystal, because he was dancing quit hard during that one, and the next song Blue Monday he did not move at all.

Did he mention anything about calling me? :D

He hurt himself during BLT at the Oakland show.

i'm really upset that he hurt himself. i wanted to be able to see him do his signature dancing live in NY!

If he did hurt himself during BLT, he still did a good job dancing in Crystal. He even kicked over his mic stand. But David said he hurt himself during Temptation??? I should have asked, but I only had about 30 seconds before he went threw the security line.

His dancing really is a lot more endearing once you get to see it up close, live. I hope he recovers soon and that they aren't forced to cancel any dates in Europe of the U.S. because of it. :(

Yeah, he was all over the place during BLT and then all of a sudden he was on the floor. He did rock out during "Crystal", but during BM he hardly moved at all. I'm pretty sure it was during BLT though.

I'm upset, too. Perhaps he'll be better by Thursday, though?

i've got to say, as mean spirited as i've been about his dancing, i loved his wacky display in Oakland and really missed seeing him scoot around at Coachella. Heal up soon and get to movin Barney!

one thing's for sure.....he moves impressively well for a guy pushing 50!!!!!!!
