Hey, there's a spelling mistake in Crystal's lyrics!!!!!

No wonder why there was an apostrophe controversy lately! :evil4:

No, I'm serious... the chat between 2 of the 3 first songs was written on the autocue... I don't remember what it was, but it was there.... I was surprised when I saw it...

Ah, but if they replaced "your" with "you're" it would push words onto the next line and then things would get all messed up!

Couldn't you insert in the thing something embarassing like "You all forgot Rudolf Hess" or "Ok, this is The Perfect Kiss"?

What think is hilarious is "Melodica/Phil" & "Long Bass Solo" Its as if they're going to forget what to play, and when to play it. Definently a fifth member.

I wonder does the Autocue have the Taking drugs with me line on it for TF....

That's hysterical that he has the chatting on there, too. I wonder if he writes all his own jokes?

Priceless!

Whats funny is when he strayed from his pal Oto during Blue Monday to work the machinary and started singing way too early. One of the roadies off on the side was yelling "NOT YET!!!"

That's why Otto Q. has "Long Bass solo"-- so he knows where they are in the song.

Other fact I didn't know.. there are 2 of those on stage.. one each side of Bernard!

yeah i noticed that as well, and depending on the song, he would look at one or the other

Maybe Bernard just has a memory problem. If you listen to JD live, most of the arrangement straying is on Bernard's guitar. From what I've gathered from interviews, he's become real perfectionist and maybe at this stage in the game the autocue is where it's at. No big deal; it's pretty amusing and endearing in a way.

Are you actually saying his 'ad lib' lines are typed out word-for-word on the thing? Unbelievable.

Or just eg. "Twisted ankle gag"?

Perhaps Barney's memory is more munted than we perceived.

Well, if the autocue is even only in small part responsible for the vast improvement in the quality of their live gigs (And Barney's mood) since around 1998, then i will take it anyday!!!

Let that be a lesson to anyone who thinks Ecstacy washed down with Pernod night on night for twenty years is a good idea!

If the memory is the only thing that is affected - then it may be worth it:evil4:

God bless New order there one of the only bands that can make this jaded 28yr old dance so much. I posted before that i wish they dropped true faith. I was so wrong. I wish they played more songs maybe 22 songs. All their fucking dance tracks.

Is a song really a song if it is not performed live. Whats the use of releasing new material if is buried underneath the hits. My guess is after jetstream the title track will be the next single. There were 3 songs played off the new album.

I guess my point is that i believe that songs needs to be consumated by playing at gigs. Do they really exist if they are not?

I hope they ditch love vig. and run wild next time.

Last random rant: I must confess no new order show is complete without self-indulgence. Did anybody else have a little fun in the bathroom.

I hate when venues have bathroom attendants. I hate the idea of somebody being subserviant to myself. I made sure to take a slice of gum, and give him of george washington's. I waited 2 hrs to pee at the show because i just couldnt leave during new order.
